If you are reading this article then you are doing your due diligence - good for you. First and foremost you should never invest in an online business opportunity without investigating the legitimacy of that program. That is a risk that is unnecessary and could be very costly.

Your two best resources for unbiased information about any online business opportunity are the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission. Both of these businesses focus on protecting the consumer and can easily be found online. They should be your primary sources of information.

Google is an amazing source of information. That being said, you need to know how to read between the lines. It is a common and unethical practice on the internet to market your own online business opportunity by bashing another. Beware if you google' a program and find negative information about it that is then followed by a sales pitch for a different program! Not only does this make the search information unreliable but also poses serious questions about the ethics of the business being promoted.

Also, do not judge a book by its title. The title is there to attract your attention. Read the entire article to get to the actual information. Often times it is the opposite of what the title implies. For example, if you were to google' Carbon Copy Pro you would see dozens of negative search titles. Some of these are by people trying to discredit one business to promote a different business and some are actually promoting CCPro by using a negative but attention grabbing title. The lesson here is that you must be thorough coin your investigation.

The internet is absolutely polluted with schemes and scams that give good online business opportunities a bad name.
