Recently my friends keep asking me on how to find simple activities for children at home, and not every weekend just do window shopping. Here I share my seven interesting and simple D.I.Y craft activities at home with your toddler. Hope you will enjoy to do this activities with your child at home!

Craft #1 Egg Painting.

Material you need is egg shell. Keep egg shells during your cooking, this can be done by removing all the egg white and egg yoke without breaking the whole egg, but just a small hole on top of the egg. Keep as many egg shell as you can to allow your children enjoy with different egg painting experience. You can use any coloring medium such as acrylic, watercolor, poster color, color pencil, crayon, as long as your children comfortable with it!

There is nothing more fun then shopping for newborn toys. They are so cute, but yet so expensive so you really need to know what to buy and what not to buy.

Toys for infants should expose them to the wonders of sight, sound and touch. Shape, size, texture and of course taste also come into the equation. Bright toys and light toys work best. Rattles and squishy toys work best for this. It also teaches the infant to grab and hold onto things.

When the infant can start sitting up, blocks and stacking rings work well. Anything that encourages the baby to walk is great, like push toys.

When you put together a Fireman themed party for the kids and your adult guests you may want to make it Hot! As in plenty of hot and tasty treats for the menu. There are lots of spicy dishes to choose from, but you may wish to follow the buffet we’ve put together.

A Fireman party menu for your friends and family should be suitably hot and spicy. A taco bar should do the trick. Serve up everyone’s favorite taco toppings and then some for this hot event. That means plenty of ground beef, pulled pork, spicy chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheeses! Don’t forget the sauces like guacamole, hot sauce, taco sauce and sour cream. An essential side dish for your taco buffet has to be the Spicy Red Refried Beans and of course Spanish Rice.

“What is happiness?” a young child asked. For a moment I was a bit taken aback. Then I thought, ‘Happiness’ is a really complicated sensory thing - a bit like an onion. As you peel away the outer layers, according to your experience, you expose the deeper, more intimate layers, one by one, until you get to the core - inner peace and contentment, which is the essence of happiness.

Happiness has been described as beatitude, blessedness, bliss, cheerfulness, child-like innocent contentment, delight, ecstasy, felicity, being light-hearted, feeling carefree, good-humoured, fun-loving, being joyful, rapturous, merriment, tranquillity, or enjoying inner peace. I know that inner peace is a necessary prerequisite of happiness.
