Pregnancy In Older Women
Pregnancy in older women is far more prevalent than ever before. More and more women today are waiting until they are more financially and emotionally ready to have children, often in their late 30’s or early 40’s. In fact, I was one of these statistics. I became pregnant for the first time at the age of thirty nine. And I was having twins. While being older definitely brings increased risks along with it, it also brings increased maturity. I was manic about my diet and fitness. I followed all of my doctor’s orders to a tee, and I was constantly reading and researching all the material I could get my hands on. Through all of my experience I have three things I would recommend to all women who have a pregnancy later in life. First, is nutrition.
